The history of our house goes back to the 18th century. The Dragoner owes its name to an ancestor who once served as a soldier in a Dragoon regiment – a legacy we still carry with pride today. What began as a small inn gradually evolved into a lively meeting place for travelers, locals, and all those who appreciate something truly special.
Since 1905, the hotel and restaurant have been run by the Gruber family – now in the fourth generation. Much has changed over the decades, but one thing has always remained the same: our passion for creating a place of hospitality, relaxation, and enjoyment. Each generation has contributed new ideas while preserving the original character and deep bond with the region. Today, the Dragoner is living history – authentic, warm, and full of life.
